Serbian American Day in Congress

As part of our Voice Program we launched the first  Serbian American Day in Congress in June 2005. The event takes place in June timed to coincide with St. Vitus Day (Vidovdan), a religious holiday when Serbs commemorate the 1389 Battle of Kosovo.

At these events our members from around the United States come to Washington DC and visit their representatives in Congress to introduce to them issues of importance to the Serbian American community. The event provides an opportunity for our members to participate in their democracy as constructive constituents.
