DIASPORA HOMELAND BRIDGE
Links with the Homeland
In 1991 the Serbian Unity Congress established an official presence in Belgrade, Serbia. We responded to the regime change in 2000 and developed programs for cooperation between the Homeland and Diaspora. Our Belgrade Office promotes the constructive role of Diaspora in the Homeland, lays the groundwork for and implements our programs.
Our Belgrade Office has built excellent relations with all strata of society in Serbia and Republic of Srpska -- with government, academic, business, media and social agencies and representatives. Our Diaspora/Homeland Bridge programs catalyze changes by advancing ideas, giving logistical and/or organizational and implementation support to projects within various centers and segments of the social and economic structures of Serbia.
In 2009 our Belgrade operation became a separate legal entity, a non-governmental organization in Serbia, Serbian Unity Congress - Serbia, a sister organization and part of the Serbian Unity Congress family.
