  • Iran vows to hit any country that stages attack
    Iran will target any country where an attack against it is staged, Revolutionary Guard senior commander General Hossein Salami warned Sunday. "Any place where enemy offensive operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran originate will be the target of a reciprocal attack by the Guard's fighting units," the semiofficial Fars news agency quoted Salami as saying.

  • SNS promises to “fight for every vote”
    Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) deputy leader Aleksandar Vučić has said that his party will fight for every vote, both in Belgrade and in the entire Serbia. Vučić, who is running for Belgrade mayor, said on Sunday in Belgrade that it depended on the Belgrade citizens whether he would become a mayor or not and denied allegations that the Democratic Party (DS) wass the only favorite.

    The EU has donated EUR 2.2bn to Serbia in the last decade, daily Večernje novosti writes. According to the Serbian government’s EU Integration Office, the Serbian citizens saved up to EUR 200mn since the visa-free regime was introduced. On the other hand, Serbia only has a positive trade with Cyprus, Latvia and Lithuania while it imports more than it exports when other EU member states are concerned.
