PARTICIPATE IN THE 2010 CENSUS
BE COUNTED!
Serbian Unity Congress has partnered with the U.S. Census Bureau to help achieve a complete and accurate count of our population as part of Census 2010.
Conducted every 10 years, the census defines who we are as a nation. It guides critical decisions on the national, state and local levels and provides insight into population, state, local and tribal government funding and more. Census data affect us all, which means achieving a complete and accurate count is essential.
As a leading Serbian American organization we are promoting participation to ensure Americans of Serbian heritage we represent are fully counted. With your help, the Census Bureau can produce data that give the true representation of our population.
HOW TO DECLARE YOUR ETHNIC IDENTITY
This Census questionnaire has been simplified to one page. Ethnic identity is entered in the question on race and must be entered properly to be counted. Please see a completed sample form to be sure you enter your identity correctly. Forms are available in: English (http://2010.census.gov/2010census/pdf/2010_Questionnaire_Info.pdf) Serbian (http://2010.census.gov/2010census/pdf/LAG_Serbian.pdf).
You can also see the Census 2010 web page in Serbian.
For your convenience you can see a completed sample form in both languages. You are welcome to print them and use them as guides.
