STEP 1: REGISTER TO VOTE
Print the National Mail Registration Form The National Mail Voter Registration Form can be used to register to vote, to update your registration information due to a change of name, make a change of address or to register with a political party. The national form also contains voter registration rules and regulations for each state and territory.

STEP 2: KNOW THE CANDIDATES’ RECORDS
For more information please visit WWW.THOMAS.GOV and check the record of your representative in U.S. Congress. Go and meet candidates in person. Check for the local town hall meetings.
STEP 3: CHECK WHEN PRIMARY ELECTIONS IN YOUR STATE ARE TAKING PLACE
Senate and house elections are taking place on November 2, 2010. Have a role in selecting who will represent your party then. Find the dates here for primaries in your state:http://www.eac.gov/voter_resources/election_calendar.aspx
